Expressive Cognition is an experimental verbal reasoning profiler. It records spoken responses, transcribes them, analyzes the language across multiple dimensions, and generates an experimental verbal reasoning profile. The Service is provided for informational and exploratory purposes only.
The Service does not measure intelligence, cognitive ability, or mental capacity in any clinically validated sense. Results are experimental estimates based on linguistic analysis of a limited speech sample.

The scoring methodology, task design, interface, and all original content of Expressive Cognition are the intellectual property of the Service’s creator. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the methodology, scoring system, or application design without written permission.
You retain ownership of the audio recordings and spoken content you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your audio and transcript solely for the purpose of generating your assessment results. We do not retain, store, or reuse your content after your session ends.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that results are accurate, complete, or scientifically validated.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Expressive Cognition and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on any results or information provided by the Service.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
